”Crush,” by Ethel Cain, (the stripped version, of course), is the inspiration behind this piece. The vintage denim vest was sourced in Alabama, as were the two detachable gold embellishments on the front. I crocheted the back panel and stitched it to the vest by hand. I added the same stitching to the darts on the front to make the entire piece feel more cohesive.
