Bonnie Blue Beaded Bonnet - Crochet Bonnet

this cutie little bonnet is made from some of my littlest bits and scraps of yarn. The fibers I used contain wool, cotton, acrylic, and silk. Looking closely, you can see the fluctuation in materials, giving this bonnet an extra sweet, one of a kind element. I added jump rings, evenly spaced all along both edges, and added a little bead, alternating yellow and blue to bring out the pops of colored silk throughout the fabric. Because this material is ripped, it’s extra stretchy, and comes to a very soft rounded point on the top to rest comfortably on the Top of your head towards the back without sliding off. The ties are long enough to Be tied in a bow, but may also be worn loosely, crossed and draped over opposite shoulders.

Traditionally, bonnets are thought of more as a winter time accessory, but this one is so lightweight, I imagine it as the perfect accessory for shopping at the farmers market, taking a walk at the park, Or meeting a friend for lunch. Paired with some little sunglasses, I don’t think it would be any cuter than this.
